In fact, they take advantage of their capabilities rather than helping others.

Dark Empaths Are Extroverts Who Use Others

The dark empaths show "open behaviour" and have excellent social skills. A dark empath isn't afraid to tell others what they're thinking, even if it sounds rude or hateful. They will boldly express their opinions on people, regardless of what others think. This is not a person who will be easily influenced. Rather, they are the ones that push people around because of their dark traits.

Dark empaths have a strong desire for power and usually like to be in control at all times.  They are sometimes found to bring out the best in others around them. Because they are generally talented people. They motivate others to do their best, to participate more, and to attain the group's goal more effectively. 

Dark empaths don't want to follow others at all costs, but sometimes they also don't want to be in charge to avoid taking responsibility.

Dark Empaths Are Incredibly Narcissistic And Proud

Narcissism is one of the most well-known traits of the dark empath. Because they are narcissistic, they can't stand it when people say negative things about them. They also can't bear being rejected, and the word "no" isn't in their dictionary unless it's them who use it. 

A dark empath can be so proud that they believe they are better than others. They can be quite rude at times, and they can be aggressive in both direct and indirect ways. As interesting as it may sound, not everything with this personality type is bad. On the contrary, certain dark empaths are found to have exceptional abilities in certain areas of life.

They are proven to be outstanding leaders since they do not give up on their objectives and have the ability to make quick decisions. They understand people well and so have no difficulty interacting with them. This in no way means that they are flawless because talent and perfection are two very different things.

Dark Empaths Are Masters At Emotional Manipulation

One of the most key traits of a dark empath is their ability to emotionally manipulate almost anyone. One of the reasons these sorts of people are so dangerous is because of this. Unlike a psychopath, who will physically hurt you, a dark empath will target your Achilles' heel. They'll find your weak spot and exploit it to the greatest extent possible. 

The dark empath can quickly understand people' emotions and then manipulate them into doing anything they desire. They'll bend that person's will to meet their needs. A dark empath only expresses empathy when they know they can use it to their advantage.

Dark Empaths Excel In Guilt-tripping Others

Dark empaths use the same approach for guilt-tripping others as they did in the last case when they used empathy to understand and then manipulate others' emotions. It all boils down to the fact that empathy is critical to their success.

They utilise this personality trait to comprehend others' emotions so they can change them accordingly, instead of caring for others or considering their feelings.

Traditional dark triads lack empathy, it can be difficult for them to grasp other people's feelings; but, for a dark empath, it's a piece of cake.
