Organizing social gatherings with friends will give an environment where you can relax and forget about your job. 

Reward yourself

We feel motivated when we have this mentality that we’ll be rewarded for doing something. This sense of being rewarded is the primary reason why many people work hard to achieve their goals. 


If you don't enjoy the tasks on your to-do list, consider using basic bribery to motivate yourself. Try phrases like, "If I finish this report, then I can go grab a cupcake from the bakery down the street," or "If I finish this presentation, then I can go to happy hour with my friends tonight." You could even make a rewards jar to keep yourself motivated for weeks!

A lot of people get anxiety attacks when they are working at a place which they don’t deem appropriate, but still, they have to spend the bulk of their time there.

Only Commit when You Can Keep

Making commitments you can’t keep adds an extra layer of stress when you are already busy at work. Workers waste a huge chunk of their time finding excuses for not keeping their promises.

 

Create a system for tracking your commitments and managing your schedule to reduce stress and dissatisfaction at work. Maintain that level of framework that enables you to quickly and accurately determine whether or not you are able to commit to a request or a new task. If you don't have time, don't volunteer for extra work or office responsibilities.

Take breaks

It's all too easy to get caught up in a never-ending cycle of tasks, both at work and at home. Don’t be that guy who thinks he’s a 24-hour work machine or something. If you notice that some groups at work are more likely to participate in bad actions like gossiping or complaining, try to avoid them. If that isn't possible, try to divert their conversations toward more positive topics.
